Man dies after watching Nonoy Zuñiga concert

The senior citizen, 85, from San Jose del Monte, was so overcome with joy as he walked out of the theater, accompanied by his daughter. He was talking animatedly about the concert. How much he enjoyed the performance. How Nonoy's voice has improved through the years. How it hasn't actually been tainted by wear and tear. How still beautiful all those songs he sang were.

As father and daughter approached the escalator on their way down, the old man suddenly felt uneasy. He slowed down, clutched his chest, found difficulty in breathing, and asked for help. He was brought to the hospital, where moments later, he passed.

Nonoy was told of the incident at the post-concert meet and greet. He was shown pictures of the man and his family posing with his image, a life-size poster, at the foyer of the theater.
