LTO summons owner of SUV with 'blinding' rear-mounted light bar

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) placed under alarm a sports utility vehicle (SUV) over the installation of “blinding” rear-mounted lights which posed danger to other motorists trailing it.
LTO chief, Assistant Secretary Vigor D. Mendoza II said the registered owner of the Toyota FJ Cruiser in the viral video was also asked to bring the vehicle to the agency’s Central Office in Quezon City as part of the investigation.
A video of the SUV’s blinding rear lights went viral, prompting the LTO to immediately act on the complaint.
"We already issued a show cause order against the registered owner of the vehicle wherein he was also advised to surrender the license of the driver using the car at the time of the incident," said Mendoza.
