The incident seemed ordinary, but the consequences ran deep.

The friendship between Talkative Woman (TW) and Unassuming Personality (UP) spanned more than a decade.

Introduced by mutual friends, the public witnessed how closely their families supported one another.

TW and her family stood by UP and her family when they were just starting to make a name.

TW and UP shared a common interest in the finer things in life. Both lived lavishly, though neither could claim to come from wealth.

Businesses and other opportunities expanded their means, and the public caught glimpses of their opulent lifestyles.

Eventually, however, UP surpassed TW in terms of wealth.

Unbeknownst to TW, a video allegedly captured her saying something that may have offended UP.
