Seasoned actresses Beauty Gonzalez and Kris Bernal headline GMA Afternoon Prime's newest drama, House of Lies, taking on their most demanding roles yet as a mother and a wife.
Kris Bernal Beauty Gonzalez
Set to premiere on Jan. 19, the star-studded drama features Beauty as Marjorie and Kris as Althea, with Mike Tan as Paolo and Martin del Rosario as Edward—both expected to deliver standout performances.
Veteran actors Jackie Lou Blanco, Lito Pimentel, and Snooky Serna add further depth to the series. They are joined by Sparkle talents Kayla Davies, Angel Cadao, Geo Mhanna, and Kokoy de Santos, with Tanya Gomez, Patricia Tumulak, and Gee Canlas completing the stellar cast.
House of Lies unravels the gripping tale of two women determined to secure their dream lives and protect their families. However, ambition, deceit, and betrayal create a dangerous web-ultimately constructing a house of lies.
Marjorie is a devoted mother and loving wife to Paolo. Meanwhile, Paolo's brother Edward is married to Althea, a high-maintenance and insecure woman who is also a strict mother to their daughter.
Raised in privilege, Paolo and Edward have always vied to prove themselves the better son and rightful heir to Torrecampo Realty. Meanwhile, Althea's insecurities toward Marjorie push her to try to bring Marjorie down now that they share the same family.
What happens when a seemingly perfect household becomes riddled with dark secrets? Can lies and betrayal stay buried forever, or will the truth ultimately shatter everything they hold dear?
