Historical marker for Manila Bulletin: A legacy in ink and truth

Today, Oct. 23, 2025, the Manila Bulletin historical marker will be unveiled at the office building of the 125-year-old media company at the corner of Muralla and Recoletos Streets in Intramuros, Manila.

The marker states:
Katibayan ng Paglilipat at Pagtanggap ng Panandang Pangkasaysayan
“MANILA BULLETIN”
Dapat mabatid na ang Pambansang Komisyong Pangkasaysayan ng Pilipinas, sa pagpapatupad ng kapangyarihang ipinagkaloob dito ng batas at bilang pagtalima sa kautusang parangalan ang mga pambansang bayani, pamalagiin ang luwalhati ng kanilang kabutihan, at pagyamanin ang mga makasaysayang pook, ay malugod na inililipat ang panandang pangkasaysayang ito sa MANILA BULLETIN na buong pusong sumasang-ayon na tanggapin at panatiliing isang banal na tungkulin ang pangangalaga nito.
(The National Historical Commission of the Philippines, in fulfillment of its legal mandate, and in compliance with the mandate to honor national heroes, perpetuate the glory of their virtue, and enrich historical sites, is pleased to award this historical landmark to the MANILA BULLETIN which agrees to accept its responsibility of fulfilling this noble obligation to preserve it for posterity.)
