Grade 8 student hurt in Marikina robbery-snatching; 2 suspects nabbed

Grade 8 student was injured after resisting a man who snatched his mobile phone while waiting for a jeepney on the way to school in Barangay Concepcion Dos, Marikina City, on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
According to the Marikina City Police Station, the incident occurred around 6:48 a.m. at the corner of Rainbow Street and Panganiban Street.
Authorities said the victim was waiting for a jeepney when the suspect, identified as “Buboy,” suddenly appeared from behind and snatched the mobile phone he was holding.
