Freaky Friday: Freakier than ever

Freaky Friday came out in theaters in 2003. It introduced a lot of us to Tess and Anna Coleman. mother and daughter team portrayed by Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan. Essentially, they were at odds with each other and had a mystical experience where they learnt a major life lesson while learning to walk literally in each other’s shoes (and bodies).

Now, 22 years later, Freakier Friday does the same thing. Times two. Two pairs now end up switching so the entire family can learn and understand one another. It still resonates even with its simple plot lines because this is a movie about the heart. In the age of superheroes and villains, a simple story about parents and children that delivers pure entertainment stands out.
