Autopsy to be conducted on remains of law student

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death of Anthony Granada, 25, a law student of the De La Salle University (DLSU) Bonifacio Global City campus in Taguig, who was found dead in Naic, Cavite on June 21.

Granada went missing on June 8, and was reported to the Taguig police on June 15. His body was later found in an advanced stage of decomposition in a vacant lot in Barangay Sapa, Naic.

The Naic police said his remains were brought to the Imperial Funeral Homes in Barangay San Agustin, Trece Martires in Cavite for autopsy and DNA testing.

An investigation is being conducted by the Forensic Unit of Cavite province to determine the cause of death. Granada’s personal belongings were turned over to his family.
