In celebration of the International Day of the Girl, the Singapore Embassy in Manila welcomed four Grade 10 students from Fort Bonifacio High School—Aira, Bella, Princess, and Rizzi—as “Ambassadors for a Day” on Oct. 22, 2025.

Observed globally every October, the International Day of the Girl highlights the need to invest in girls’ education, amplify their voices, and expand opportunities for them to thrive. This year, Spark! Philippines, a local NGO, and the Department of Education collaborated with several foreign embassies in Metro Manila to give local students a glimpse into the world of diplomacy, international relations, and leadership.
