A. Brown buys 40% stake in Alternergy wind projects

Publicly-listed firm A. Brown Co., Inc. (ABCI) reported that its energy holding platform has acquired a 40 percent stake in two wind projects of the renewable Energy (RE) platform Alternergy Holdings Corp.
In a statement on Friday, Oct. 24, ABC Energy said it has acquired a 40 percent equity stake in Alternergy Tanay Wind Corp. (ATWC) and Alabat Wind Power Corp. (AWPC), which manage two wind projects in Rizal and Quezon.
This acquisition amounted to P2.4 billion, while Alternegy Wind Holdings Corp. will retain its 60 percent ownership in the two project companies.
