8 new Puregold stores to boost sales

Tycoon Lucio Co’s food retail arm Puregold Price Club Inc. is opening eight new branches across the country this year to help it achieve the group’s sevento nine-percent revenue growth target.

The supermarket chain said it is planning to open new stores in Northern and Southern Luzon, as well as in the Visayas and Mindanao. Most recently, it opened a branch in Sindangan town, Zamboanga del Norte, its first in the province.

The new builds are in line with Puregold’s continuing expansion, with the goal of empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in more areas across the country, supporting countryside growth, and providing quality yet affordable options for Filipino households.
