The nightclub where you can bring your own drinks

A NIGHTCLUB is having a major rebrand which will see it become the UK's first-of-its-kind where customers can ‘skip the overpriced bar'.

XLR Manchester, on Wilmslow Road in Withington, has been recognised for its intimate basement setting which showcases a range of up-and-coming artists in the world of house, electronic, bass and dance music.

The 200-capacity venue will reopen towards the end of September with a new concept that will see it become the first licensed Bring Your Own Booze (BYOB) music venue in the UK - a move which has been made as part of its ‘forward thinking’ approach to things.

Ravers will be able to bring their own cans and drinks which will allow the clubbing experience to become ‘more about the music.
