Tears as Tess says goodbye to Strictly

Daly's daughter said she was 'crying' in the live Strictly Come Dancing audience as she supported her mum hosting the popular programme for the final time.It was an emotional night as the presenter and her co-host, Claudia Winkleman, were seen fronting the final of the hit BBC One dance show's 2025 series on Saturday night, as it also marked their last time at the helm, two months after they announced their plans to step down from their roles.

The last show of Strictly’s 2025 series featured a tribute to the departing hosts, which they said they didn't know about as they fought tears as the cameras returned to them in the show's studio.

"Thank you so much to you all for your lovely words, it has meant the world," Tess said.
