Tangerine a dream for food and drink lovers

THIS October, a new food and drink destination is set to open beneath the tracks of Salford Central Railway Station.

A team of hospitality pros have spent over a year transforming two historic railway arches into Tangerine, a 'creative labyrinth' of the city's very best food, drink, music and art. The venue will boast a canteen, bar and music hall.

The 300-capacity party venue is situated on New Bailey Street, and has seen two, long-derelict rail archways and sub-platform spaces 'reimagined with striking detail reclaiming and repurposing materials, vehicles, artwork and platforms.'

Platform 1 will be home to a daytime bakery, coffee roastery, florist, wine store and Canteen Club whilst Platform 2 houses a music hall, arthouse stage and Grand Departures bar serving martinis, and over seven styles of espresso martini.
