Popeye is right on queue for opening

AMERICAN fried chicken chain Popeyes has announced an opening date for its next new Manchester restaurant - and it's pretty soon.

The street food store, which originated in New Orleans, has been a big hit with diners since launching in the UK a few years ago.
It opened its first Manchester restaurant in Piccadilly Gardens in October 2023, before opening a second spot - and its first drive-thru in the city-region - on Bury New Road in April last year.
