PRODUCTION on a major new Netflix series is under way in Manchester this week.

Fresh from serving as the underbanks of Gotham city for the upcoming movie adaptation of DC Comics’ Clayface, Castlefield has once again been chosen as a filming location thanks to its historical roots.
The city centre area, with its famous arches and railway viaduct dating back to 1848, is doubling up as a Victorian-era street for anew show helmed by Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker.
