THOSE who have made a difference to the Macclesfield community were honoured for their selfless work.
Mayor of Macclesfield Sandy Livingstone handed out his Civic Awards for 2025 in a ceremony at Macclesfield Town Hall.
Nominations opened in March and awards were handed out across six categories.
They were:
• Independent business - Spivey's Web for continued work in the community.
• Art and culture - Adam Schofield and Mellissa Wilkinson, founders of Made In Macclesfield, which brings together makers from the area.
• Sporting and leisure - Macclesfield Cricket Club volunteers for tireless work to bring the sport to a wider range of participants.
