LAST Wednesday, Cheshire East councillors finally got an opportunity to discuss the proposals to build up to 20,000 homes on our greenbelt at Adlington.
This is the first time that councillors have been asked for their views, and all councillors from all different parties united in their opposition to these plans.
In September, we learnt that the Labour Government's New Towns Task Force was recommending Adlington on its list of 12 proposed new developments.
