MORE than 1,000 people across Mid and West Wales have already shared their views about potential changes to healthcare services in the region.
MORE than 1,000 people across Mid and West Wales have already shared their views about potential changes to healthcare services in the region.
Hywel Dda University Health Board is consulting with people on nine healthcare services to improve access and standards and deal with current challenges.
The consultation runs until August 31 and the services under review are critical care, dermatology, emergency general surgery, endoscopy, ophthalmology, elective orthopaedics, radiology, stroke and urology.
From questionnaire responses so far, 40% are from people in Pembrokeshire, 34% from people in Carmarthenshire, 23% from people in Ceredigion and 3% from people living elsewhere.
