Three-year-old conquers Snowdon - and then sets his sights even higher

A THREE-YEAR-OLD has become one of the youngest people to climb one of Britain's highest mountains.

Levi Record hasn’t even begun primary school but has already reached the top of Snowdon - now known by its Welsh name Yr Wyddfa - in North Wales.

Little Levi, who had already tackled big climbs including Moel Famau and Werneth Low, took on the challenge alongside his mum Tamasine, dad Matthew and sisters Nancy and Anais, aged nine and 11.

Levi completed eight and a half hours of walking by himself and was not carried once during the nine-mile hike, climbing a total of 3,560ft.
