Slot: 'We don't have unlimited money'

Arne Slot has played down talk of Liverpool signing a centre-back in the January transfer window.

The Premier League champions were set to sign Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi on transfer deadline day back on September 1 only for the Londoners to pull the plug on the £35m deal at the 11th hour.

Palace boss Oliver Glasner said this week he expects Eagles skipper Guehi to now see out his contract at Selhurst Park with the Reds one of several looking to bring in the England international in the summer as a free agent.
