McGrail vows to come back stronger after Masoud defeat

PETER McGrail has vowed to come back stronger after he was beaten by Shabaz Masoud in Monaco on Saturday night.
McGrail suffered the second defeat of his professional career when he was edged out by Masoud at Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo.
The judges scored it 116-111, 115-112 and 114-113 in favour of Masoud after 12 rounds of action.
Reflecting on the defeat, the Everton Red Triangle fighter said: “The dust has settled on what was great experience, headlining a Matchroom Monte-Carlo show.
“It was a close fight that has divided opinions.
Congratulations to Shabaz on getting the nod - would be up to running it back at some point in the future. I'll be back early in the new year hungrier than ever!”
