Liverpool to be 'reminded' over 'ball rule breaches'

LIVERPOOL could be reminded by the Premier League of its rules around the multi-ball system after claims they committed multiple breaches against Manchester United.

The Reds' poor form continued on Sunday when they were beaten 2-1 by Ruben Amorim's side at Anfield.

Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring after just 63 seconds before Cody Gakpo drew the Reds level when he finished from close-range.

But with six minutes of normal time remaining, Harry Maguire headed home a Bruno Fernandes ball into the box.
