LEEDS United boss Daniel Farke is refusing to get carried away by Dominic Calvert-Lewin's form.

- By CONNOR O'NEILL ECHO Reporter

After leaving Everton in the summer, the forward attracted interest from Fiorentina and Sunderland before joining Leeds in the middle of August.

Calvert-Lewin has gone on to impress at Elland Road and, as well as scoring nine times so far this season, was named Premier League player of the month for December.

But as he prepares to come up against his old side, Farke said: "I'm not willing to sing his praise after five or six good months.

"I'm willing to sing his praises about him fully after a really good season and Dominic is for me an outstanding striker for me. One of the best English strikers around.

"He doesn't have to prove it on Premier League level anymore for that he has way too many games and way too many goals.
