Delap could be on Blues radar

EVERTON have been linked with a big summer swoop for Liam Delap - but what might the Ipswich Town striker potentially bring to David Moyes' men?
A report by TEAMtalk claims a striker will be a priority for Everton ahead of the 2025/26 season and, along with Brighton & Hove Albion, they have joined the list of clubs in the race for the 22-year-old.
The Blues could lose Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer this summer when his current contract expires while Armando Broja has failed to score a goal during his loan spell from Chelsea.
The article adds that Everton and the Seagulls have both gathered updated information on Delap in recent days and are keeping close tabs on his situation with the player having a £40million release clause if Ipswich Town are relegated.
Delap is a 95% match to Nicolas Jackson of Chelsea; 94% to Alexander Isak of Newcastle United; 93% to Evanilson of Bournemouth and 90% to both Chris Wood of Nottingham Forest and Kai Havertz of Arsenal.
