Death probe finds nothing suspicious

Kenny Unsworth

Huyton man Kenneth 'Kenny' Unsworth was reported missing on November 22, 2025, having been last seen leaving his home two days before.

His body was later found at around 12.20pm on November 26 in an area off the A90 between Brechin and Laurencekirk near the east coast of Scotland. Mr Unsworth's death was initially treated as "unexplained" by Police Scotland officers, who were leading the investigation.

But in a new update the force has now said they have found no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. A spokesperson for the force told the ECHO on Friday that detectives had forwarded a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
