CCTV plea after 'nasty' attack in bar

A MAN was punched and kicked in the head inside a sports bar.

Merseyside Police said the man, aged in his 50s, was attacked at some point between 12.15 and 12.30am on Sunday, March 23, in NYX Sports Bar and Grill on Pensby Road, Heswall.
The victim took himself to hospital and was treated for a fracture to the right side of his temple and a serious eye injury. Detectives described the incident as a “nasty and unprovoked attack”.
