DAD'S WARNING TO COUNCIL AS DRIVERS IGNORE ONE WAY SYSTEM

- By DAVID HUMPHREYS

A LIVERPOOL dad so frustrated with the number of cars who ignore the one-way system along his road has taken it upon himself to record offending motorists.

Christopher Daly said he fears a fatality could occur if more is not done to police the traffic restrictions along Tilston Road in Walton.

Mr Daly (inset), who bought the house with his wife 33 years ago, has become so irritated by the frequency of drivers not paying attention to the one-way system that has been adopted on his street, he has taken to using his own CCTV camera to document just how many people drive the wrong way.

In the months that have followed, Mr Daly - who is to become a grandad - said he has identified thousands of drivers ignoring the signs.

He told the ECHO how despite promises from Liverpool Council, little has been done to curb the offending.
