BOSTON United's Player of the Season, Zak Mills, spoke about the achievement of the team’s late recovery this season to stay in the National League.

The Pilgrims lost just twice between the start of March and mid-April, winning nine of their 13 games in that stretch to drag themselves out of what seemed like an unrecoverable situation in the relegation zone.

Graham Coughlan, who was appointed in November after the team made a poor start to the season under previous boss Ian Culverhouse, described the club's survival as a “miracle” and the players involved backed up that sentiment.

Having been recognised as the club's top performer, Mills had a big role to play in that, and he talked up the achievement as he explained how it was made possible.

Mills said: “It's an incredible achievement, nothing short of that.
