Runners get set for races

The entries for a pair of popular runs across Dumbarton and the Vale are surging in ahead of the races later this month.
-
The Helensburgh and Dumbarton 10ks have attracted the usual strong fields from clubs all over the UK and are part of the Babcock 10k Series which kicked off at Glasgow Green with the city event this weekend.
Dumbarton's 10k takes place on Thursday, May 22 at 7.30pm, with the race setting off from the start outside Dumbarton Academy and the field is creeping towards 550 runners.
