CAMPAIGNERS SAY JUDGEMENT IS 'NEEDLESS ATTACK' ON MINORITY
TRANS rights protesters have taken to Leicester city centre to voice opposition to the Supreme Court's ruling on the definition of a woman.
Protesters said the ruling, which states that a woman is defined by biological sex under equalities law, was a “completely needless attack” on trans people.
People gathered in Jubilee Square on Tuesday.
The Supreme Court said its decision still gives protection against discrimination to transgender people, but protesters disagree.
