Roller-skating rink is given permission to create extension

EXPANSION plans for a roller skating rink have been given the green light.

Michelle Clarke applied to Harborough District Council for an extension to the indoor Midlands Roller Arena, in Bitteswell Road, Ashby Parva.

The proposals include extensions to the main entrance and arena, which she said will provide a teaching area with supporting facilities and seating.

Work includes the construction of a spectator seating area alongside the rink to allow better viewing during training and sports sessions.
