Raising a toast to pub pair

A MOTHER and son team running a pub have scooped a major national award.

Steph and Corey Davis run The Lamb Inn, in Ashby and have just been named winners of the Best Turnaround category at the Craft Union Pub Company's annual Operator Awards.

The award recognises those who have transformed their pubs through dedication, creativity and community spirit.

Judges praised Steph and Corey for revitalising The Lamb Inn and improving its popularity, winning the award and beating stiff competition from Craft Union's 600 other pubs across England and Wales.
