James on target - but yellow card rules him out of crunch qualifier

LEICESTER City fan favourite Jordan James scored his first goal for Wales in Saturday's 1-0 victory in Liechtenstein - but a yellow card rules him out of tomorrow’s crunch World Cup qualifier against North Macedonia.
-
Wales must win their final fixture in Cardiff to secure a home semifinal in the March playoffs.
But they will be weakened by the absence of James and fellow midfielder Ethan Ampadu, who also picked up a yellow card.
James, who is on loan at Leicester from Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais, has impressed the King Power Stadium faithful with his all-action, box-to-box playing style.
He marked his 25th cap for Wales by scoring at close range after minnows Liechtenstein had held out for over an hour at the Rheinpark Stadion, in Vaduz.
James said: “I've been waiting for it but I have been in sort of goalscoring form for Leicester, which is nice.
