Blue badge rules set to be reviewed

A GOVERNMENT commitment to review the rules around organisational Blue Badges has been welcomed by an MP.

Harborough Community Bus, a charity that provides minibus transport for elderly residents, disabled people and community groups raised concerns about the issue with Harborough, Oadby and Wigston MP Neil O'Brien.

Although about 65 per cent of its passengers would qualify for a Blue Badge, the organisation itself has been unable to get one under the current rules.
