ELECTRICITY supplier National Grid is meeting families ahead of changes to a North Staffordshire substation.

National Grid is extending Cellarhead substation and carrying out additional maintenance on the site this summer.
It is part of the UK drive towards net zero. Now National Grid is staging a drop-in event ahead of the work. It particularly affects residents in Cellarhead, Wetley Rocks and Bagnall and comes as public rights of way will need to be 'temporarily closed and diverted'.
