REIGATE RACER OPTIMISTIC AFTER WIN AT DONINGTON PARK

Chilton ready for Brands Hatch

IT WAS a winning start to the 2025 British Touring Car Championship season for Tom Chilton at Donington Park.

After top ten finishes in the first two races, the Reigate racer netted top spot in race three to seal a successful weekend.

Chilton's Excelr8-run team made the short trip from its base in Droitwich to the East Midlands circuit hoping to make the most of a productive winter of testing with its Hyundai i30 Fastback N - all geared towards maximising the performance of the car following a raft of regulation changes.

From the moment practice kicked off, it was clear that that winter work has paid dividends as Chilton and team-mate scored a 1-2 in the opening session of the weekend.
