Wall helps Elite C outfit to build a solid lead at top

Elite C made it eight wins out of eight in the Preston and District Summer Snooker League to move six points clear at the top of the table.
Their latest victory was a 4-3 triumph at home to St Wilfrid's.
Anthony Wall won 94-32 and moved up to second place in the merit table.
Terry Beattie was in impressive form, winning 110-19, and Johno Fitzgerald chipped in with a 59-55 victory.
Brownedge enjoyed a great night with a 6-1 away win against Elite A.
Steve Whalley had a 29 break in his 70-41 win.
He was backed up by Terry Worden (63-43), Paul Taylor (66-48) and Barry Johnson, who won 53-44.
