Pay and display charges coming to Civic Centre car park within weeks

Town Hall says the switch will boost access and efficiency
Pay and display charges will be introduced at the Civic Centre car parks in Leyland from next month.
South Ribble Council says the new charges are designed to “ensure fair and controlled use” of its car parks as well as funding maintenance and improvements.
It also said the change will “increase the turnover of parking spaces to accommodate more visitors to access the Civic Centre whilst ensuring our staff can park at their workplace”.
