The parents of a six-year-old girl who was killed after being struck by a van as she stepped off a bus say she was "the most important part of our lives".
Six-year-old Millie Joy Gribble died six days after she was struck by a truck driven by 61-year-old Stephen Worden (inset), from Nateby
Millie Joy Gribble was hit by an Iveco Daily flatbed truck driven by Stephen Worden. She died six days later in Alder Hey Hospital due to a catastrophic head injury. Worden, 61, from Nateby, will face a year in prison and has been disqualified from driving for two years after he was sentenced at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday.
