Lack of funding forces closure of abuse victim support charity

A charity supporting survivors of sexual violence across Lancashire is to close after it failed to find “necessary funding”.
-
Trust House Lancashire appealed for support in December, warning that it was “under threat of disappearing” and asking local residents to write to their MP.
However, the Preston-based charity – which provides specialist support services for survivors of rape and sexual abuse – has now confirmed its closure.
