Will Keane is ready to feature for Preston North End again if called upon.
The striker has not kicked a ball this season after injuring himself in the warm-up of PNE's preseason friendly at Bolton back in July.
Preston's top scorer from the 2023/24 campaign has returned to the match-day squad in recent weeks, and is likely to feature again at Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.
With fellow forward Mi-lutin Osmajic still to serve six matches of his ban, the 32-year-old-who is in the final year of his contract at Deepdale-could well have a part to play over the festive period.
