A Lancashire teacher has been named the region’s Teacher of the Year at a prestigious awards ceremony, with several county schools and colleges also scooping honours.
Stuart Hide, of Leyland's Runshaw College, won Teacher of the Year
Stuart Hide, from Leyland's Runshaw College, took home the highly coveted Teacher of the Year award at the Educate Awards.
Awards organisers said Stuart's inspirational leadership and unwavering commitment to student success had transformed one of the UK’s most technical post-16 qualifications into a nationally respected programme.
