City's Palestinian partnership criticised by Jewish leader

Preston City Council leader Matthew Brown and Jewish community representative Jeremy Dable do not see eye to eye over the friendship agreement with Hebron

Jeremy Dable, the Jewish representative on Preston's Faith Covenant, has been a staunch critic of the proposed arrangement since the principle of it was first mooted early last year.

It came after 14 of Preston's mosques suggested the city find a friendship partner in Palestine, in the months after war broke out between Gaza and Israel.
