Burst pipes leave town without water supply
Lancashire Evening Post
|January 13, 2026
Delays to repairing a leak in Bamber Bridge which later went on to become a full burst which left well over a thousand people without water were due to pressure brought on by the cold weather.
The burst pipe at Brindle Road was the cause of a water outage over the weekend and, along with another burst pipe at Kingsway, has also left roads and pavements in need of repair.
Brindle Road had to be closed due to the amount of water that eventually came above the surface.
