iPhone 17 Pro models to get new camera design?
Khaleej Times
|March 12, 2025
Apple is set to introduce a dramatic redesign with the iPhone 17 lineup, according to newly surfaced mockups. The video, shared by YouTuber iDeviceHelp in collaboration with leaker Majin Bu, provides a first look at what could be the most significant design overhaul in years. These renders, purportedly based on internal Apple documents, align with recent reports from multiple sources, including Apple supply chain analysts.
A new camera design for Pro models
One of the most striking changes in the iPhone 17 Pro models is the shift from the traditional square camera bump to a sleek aluminum camera bar that spans the width of the device. This departure from Apple's familiar design language is expected to give the Pro models a fresh, distinctive look.
While the Pro models will adopt the new camera bar, the base iPhone 17 is expected to retain the current camera design language from the iPhone 16 series. This move further separates the standard and premium tiers within Apple's lineup.
