'AI In The Ring' to test cultural alignment of AI models

The UAE has launched 'AI In The Ring', billed as the world's first test to assess how artificial intelligence models align with local cultural values.
Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, announced the initiative on Wednesday on the sidelines of the UAE Government Annual Meetings in Abu Dhabi.
