Srinagar Police Intensifies Citywide Security Checks

In a renewed push to strengthen public safety and tighten vigilance across the city, Srinagar Police on Friday conducted extensive inspections at chemical and fertilizer shops as well as at medical institutions, covering a wide network of police station jurisdictions and healthcare facilities.
As part of the citywide security drill, inspection teams fanned out across areas falling under Police Stations Nowhatta, Lal Bazar, Shaheed Ganj, Chanapora, Rajbagh, Ram Munshi Bagh, Harwan, Nishat, MR Ganj, Safakadal, Zadibal, Hazratbal, Nigeen, Saddar and several others. The checks focused on ensuring that chemicals, fertilizers, and other sensitive materials are neither misused nor stored in violation of existing norms.
