Sgr Police Intensify Searches At Residents Of Terrorist Aides

In its continuing persistent action against terrorist associates of proscribed terrorist outfits and in the furtherance of investigation into cases registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Srinagar Police on Monday intensified searches across multiple locations in the city with the aim to dismantle terror-supporting infrastructure in the district.
A police spokesman said in a statement Srinagar Police has conducted searches at the residences of Bashir Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Aziz Bhat resident of Sozieth involved in case FIR No. 73/2018 U/S 13,16 ULAP Act of Police Station Rajbagh Srinagar, Tawheed Ahmad son of Abdul Khaliq resident of Goripora Sozieth involved in case FIR No. 73/2018 U/S 13,16 ULAP Act of Police Station Rajbagh Srinagar, Ashiq Bashir Najar son of Bashir Ahmad Najar resident of Soiteng involved in case FIR No. 05/2022 U/S 302, 307 IPC, 7/27 Arms Act 18,19,20 UAPA of Police Station Masiuma and FIR No. 19/2022 U/S 304, 468 IPC 7/27 Arms Act 13,16,18,19,20 UAPA of Police Station Khanyar, Salik Mehraj Dar Son of Mehraj-ud-din Dar resident of Soiteng involved in case FIR No. 20/2023 U/S 121 A IPC, 13, 18, 39 UAPA of Police Station Nowgam, Umer Adil Dar son of Ghulam Hassan Dar resident of Soiteng involved in case FIR No. 20/2023 U/S 120B, 121 IPC, 13,18,39,40 UAPA of Police Station Nowgam and Bilal Ahmad Mir @ Faffu son of Gh Mohammad Mir resident of Parimp
