Salman Sagar Seeks LG's Nod For Extension Of 11th Muharram Procession

National Conference MLA from Hazratbal, Salman Ali Sagar, has written to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, seeking approval for the extension of the 11th Muharram procession route in Srinagar from Sheeshgari Mohalla, Khanyar to Chinkra Mohalla, Habakadal.
In his letter, the legislator said the annual Muharram procession in Sheeshgari Mohalla has been conducted peacefully for years and carries deep religious significance.
